D for Dot

So, as you should already have suspected, there are certain perks to this blogging thing. agnès b. held its Spring/Summer 2012 press preview for its BIJOUX and VOYAGE collection at KU DÉ TA, Marina Bay Sands. The fabulous view aside, generous helpings of yummy mini food and pretty cocktails were making the rounds (not good for squeezing into that little black dress). The cherry on the cake: the weather was surprising mild enough for us to be sitting outside, looking all cool and fashion-y in our sunglasses. Okay, that last part, I hope is true.

The bags and accessories in the VOYAGE collection are their usual casual French-chic selves. The sweet cross-bodies (pictured above) are personal favourites.

I love the effort that when into the details at the event, like the agnès b. ribbons on the floral arrangements and the super cute agnès b. chocolates we found in our press kits.

And then there were the models, who appeared rather suddenly among us. They are such eye candies, even for (straight) girls. Can you spot the Mischa Barton lookalike?

I saw Nicole (whose superpower is to always look cool in pictures) for the first time in a long time. She takes really lovely pictures, so if you have a special event coming up that needs to be documented for posterity, she’s your girl. [Ignore the hair; I'm growing it out and I cannot skip over the ugly, all-over-the-place part of that process.]
